Nussbaum Raises Driver Pay for Second Time in 2026

Nussbaum Transportation has announced its second major driver pay increase of 2026, with new rates covering several types of additional work as well as the weekly minimum guarantee.

Activity pay for eligible OTR and Regional Van System drivers is increasing from $20 to $23, while trailer relay and shuttle pay rises from $12 to $15. The weekly minimum guarantee will also increase by $50.

Detention pay across the fleet is increasing from $20 to $25 per hour. Trainers will see the biggest increase, with additional weekly trainer pay rising from $500 to $750.
