Massive New Freight Hub Opens in Texas

A huge new freight facility has opened in Laredo, Texas.

DSV has opened an 853,000-square-foot logistics center near the U.S.-Mexico border.

The facility has 84 loading docks, three loading ramps, and space for storing and moving large amounts of freight.

It is located at 1302 Uniroyal Drive in Laredo.

The center brings warehousing, truck transportation, customs services, and freight handling together at one location.

DSV says the new facility is designed to make shipping goods between the United States and Mexico easier and faster.

What This Means for CDL Drivers

Drivers hauling freight across the Mexican border may see more pickup and delivery opportunities in Laredo.

The facility is already available for customers, although DSV has not said how many additional truckloads it will handle.
