Indiana Truck Inspections Find 340 Violations in Three Days

A three-day enforcement operation in Northwest Indiana resulted in 340 commercial vehicle violations and dozens of out-of-service orders.

Indiana State Police conducted 104 truck inspections during Operation BASH from September 22 through September 24. Inspectors placed 29 drivers and 30 vehicles out of service.

The larger enforcement operation targeted aggressive driving, roadway safety and criminal activity across Northwest Indiana.
