Mexican Truckers End Border Blockade as Government Steps In

Mexican truck drivers have ended their border blockade after Baja California officials agreed to address concerns over revoked B-1 visas and U.S. cabotage enforcement.

The protest ended after three days, restoring commercial traffic at the Mexicali-Calexico crossing. Officials established a working group to review affected drivers' cases and coordinate with Mexican federal agencies and the Mexican Consulate in Calexico.

A follow-up meeting is scheduled for September 11. Officials also plan to continue discussions with U.S. border authorities.
