The lawsuit was filed on July 30 in a Delaware bankruptcy court. Three former Yellow workers filed the case and want it to become a larger group lawsuit.
The workers say the breach happened in March 2025 and affected thousands of employee records. The information reportedly included names and Social Security numbers.
The workers also say Yellow did not tell them about the breach until June 2026, more than a year later.
The former employees say they have faced problems such as more spam calls and possible unauthorized charges. They are asking for money and other help because of the data breach.
Yellow shut down its trucking operations and filed for bankruptcy in 2023.
The lawsuit is still ongoing, and the claims have not been proven in court.
