Arizona Truck and Driver Ordered Out of Service After Safety Inspection

An Arizona commercial vehicle inspection ended with both the truck and driver being ordered out of service after troopers found multiple serious violations.

Arizona Department of Public Safety said the truck was stopped September 18 on Loop 202 near McClintock Drive after a blown tire was reportedly sending sparks from the vehicle.

During the inspection, troopers found several severely worn tires, including tires worn down to internal components. The driver also did not have a valid commercial driver’s license.

Both the driver and vehicle were placed out of service.
