Trucker Charged With Attempted Murder After I-80 Rest Area Stabbing
By CDLcrewEditorial standards

A truck driver survived a serious stabbing inside a restroom at the Bitter Creek Rest Area along I-80 in Wyoming early September 13.
Court records say the victim suffered multiple stab wounds before the attacker fled in a semi-truck. Witnesses helped authorities identify and locate the truck, and Wyoming Highway Patrol took 45-year-old Andrew Kris Bzdak into custody less than 90 minutes after the first 911 call.
Bzdak was charged with attempted first-degree murder. Authorities have not announced a motive for the attack.
