New PACCAR Connect for Trucks

By CDLCrewEditorial standards

PACCAR has announced a new PACCAR Connect system for Peterbilt and Kenworth Class 8 trucks.

The system brings vehicle controls, engine diagnostics, cameras, and connected applications together on a large touchscreen inside the cab.

Drivers will have access to voice commands, Apple CarPlay, and support for up to eight cameras.

The system also provides vehicle information, digital owner's manuals, and dealer locations.

The rollout is expected to begin in early 2027.

What This Means for CDL Drivers

PACCAR Connect could make daily operations easier for drivers of new Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks.

Drivers will be able to check truck information, use navigation and compatible applications, and monitor connected cameras from one screen.

The new system is intended for compatible trucks and does not create new CDL requirements.
