New I-95 Interchange Opens in Florida a Year Early

A new I-95 interchange is now open in Florida.

The Oslo Road interchange opened October 5 in Indian River County. It is the county's first new I-95 interchange in more than 50 years, and Oslo Road was also widened from two to four lanes as part of the project.

For truck drivers, the project provides better access to commercial and industrial areas near Oslo Road. FDOT says Oslo Road is a designated truck route serving southern Indian River County, and the new connection is expected to improve freight movement and supply chain efficiency.

The project also includes Wrong Way Vehicle Detection at the ramps and is expected to reduce congestion at the existing I-95 connections at Indrio Road and State Road 60.
