Kentucky Truck Inspections Put 5 Drivers and 8 Vehicles Out of Service

A commercial vehicle enforcement operation in Jefferson County, Kentucky, resulted in multiple drivers and trucks being taken off the road.

Louisville Metro Police and Kentucky State Police conducted 43 commercial vehicle inspections on corridors with a high number of crashes.

Inspectors found 88 safety violations and issued 30 citations. Five drivers and eight commercial vehicles were placed out of service.

FMCSA and other state transportation officials also participated in the operation.
