House Resolution Honors National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

A new congressional resolution recognizes September 13–19, 2026, as National Truck Driver Appreciation Week and honors the work of America’s professional truck drivers.

Rep. Harriet Hageman of Wyoming introduced the resolution with Reps. Dave Taylor, Shomari Figures and Laura Gillen. The measure recognizes approximately 3.6 million professional truck drivers and their role in moving freight across the country.

The American Trucking Associations and Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association welcomed the congressional recognition.
