15 Semi-Trucks Involved in Massive I-95 Pileup

Fifteen tractor-trailers were among dozens of vehicles involved in a massive pileup on Interstate 95 in South Carolina.

The crash happened Thursday morning on the I-95 bridge over Lake Marion. Officials later reported that 69 vehicles were involved.

Several people were injured, and one person was transported to a hospital by helicopter. No deaths were reported.

Heavy fog and poor visibility were reported in the area around the time of the crash. I-95 was closed for hours while crews cleared the bridge and has since reopened.
