Radiator replacement on a diesel truck

The problem started with an inexperienced mechanic who incorrectly routed the coolant overflow hose.

Instead of running downward as designed, the hose was routed upward and pinched. This may have blocked the normal flow of excess coolant and prevented pressure from being released properly.

The radiator failed and had to be replaced.

This is why experience and proper knowledge matter in diesel truck repair. Replacing parts is one thing. Knowing how the system works is another.
