TRATON Truck Orders Jump 105%
Demand for new trucks is improving at TRATON, the company behind the International truck brand.
On October 28, 2026, TRATON reported that truck orders in North America increased 105% during the first nine months of 2026 compared with the same period last year.
The company said demand for heavy-duty Class 8 trucks improved significantly.
Worldwide, TRATON received 253,147 orders for commercial vehicles, up 25%.
What This Means for CDL Drivers
More orders could mean trucking companies are becoming more willing to buy new trucks.
But these are TRATON's orders, not figures for the entire U.S. truck market.
Higher truck sales also do not guarantee higher freight rates or driver pay.
