Werner Reports More Miles per Truck
Werner Enterprises is reporting stronger freight business and more miles per truck.
On October 27, 2026, the company released its final third-quarter results.
Total revenue grew 23% to $950.5 million. Trucking revenue, excluding fuel surcharges, increased 28% from a year earlier.
In the One-Way Truckload business, average miles per truck rose 22.4%.
Werner also said it is spending more on driver recruiting and onboarding to meet growing customer demand.
Part of the company's overall growth came from its acquisition of FirstFleet earlier this year.
What This Means for CDL Drivers
Werner is putting more miles on trucks in its One-Way business and investing in hiring drivers.
That could mean more work opportunities, but the company did not announce a general driver pay increase.
