Super Ego Tightens Truck Leasing Rules
Starting November 1, 2026, Super Ego Holding has new rules for drivers and trucking companies renting or leasing trucks and trailers.
The company will no longer approve owner-operators with non-domiciled CDLs for equipment leases or rentals.
Trucking companies with a Conditional FMCSA safety rating will also be denied new agreements, renewals, and additional equipment until their rating improves.
Super Ego will check driving records for English Language Proficiency (ELP) violations.
Owner-operators with unresolved ELP violations will not be approved until those issues are cleared.
Applicants must also provide current driving records and documents confirming their CDL status and operating authority.
The new requirements apply to new agreements, renewals, and requests for additional equipment.
Existing agreements are not automatically canceled on November 1, but customers must continue meeting applicable safety requirements.
What This Means for CDL Drivers
If you rent or lease a truck from Super Ego, these changes could affect your next agreement.
Drivers with non-domiciled CDLs or unresolved English-language violations may have trouble getting equipment.
This is Super Ego's company policy, not a new federal CDL law.
