Mack Launches New Service Contract

By CDLCrewEditorial standards

Mack Trucks has introduced Premium Plus Service Contract, a new program combining scheduled maintenance and powertrain repair coverage.

The program uses fixed monthly payments to help truck owners manage maintenance costs.

Coverage includes eligible engine, transmission, clutch, exhaust aftertreatment, and driveline components.

Mack says the program can reduce planned downtime by up to 38% and provide potential maintenance savings, depending on operating conditions and contract terms.

The pilot program started in January 2026. Mack has now announced the broader launch.

What This Means for CDL Drivers

The contract may help owner-operators and trucking companies plan repair expenses and reduce unexpected downtime.

Owners should review coverage limits and contract conditions before signing.
