Truckers using the Kansas Turnpike will pay higher tolls starting September 1, 2026.
The Kansas Turnpike Authority says rates will rise 4% for commercial vehicles with five or more axles, while passenger vehicle tolls will increase 3%.
A five-axle truck currently pays $32.69 to travel the full turnpike with K-Tag, or $65.38 when billed by license plate. Officials say the additional revenue will support nearly $500 million in roadway, interchange, technology, and service-area improvements.
