FedEx Orders 2,000 Electric Trucks in $300M-Plus Deal

FedEx is making a major move into electric delivery trucks.

Harbinger has received an order for 2,000 all-electric trucks from FedEx valued at more than $300 million. The vehicles are planned for delivery by the end of 2027.

The trucks will be used for FedEx pickup and delivery operations across the United States and Canada. The order expands an existing relationship after FedEx previously deployed Harbinger vehicles and co-led the manufacturer's $160 million funding round.

Harbinger says the deal is one of the largest binding orders for electric medium- or heavy-duty trucks to date.
