Waabi Trucks Begin Commercial Routes in Texas

On October 14, 2026, autonomous trucking company Waabi announced a partnership with Warrior Logistics to transport commercial freight in Texas.
Trucks equipped with the Waabi Driver autonomous driving system are already operating between Dallas and Houston.
The trucks carry food, beverages, and consumer goods as part of Warrior Logistics' regular freight operations.
According to the companies, the deliveries began earlier in 2026, but the partnership was officially announced on October 14.
For now, a safety driver remains inside each truck. These are not fully driverless operations.
Warrior Logistics plans to expand the use of autonomous trucks while continuing to employ traditional truck drivers on other routes.
What This Means for CDL Drivers
Autonomous trucking technology is moving beyond testing and into regular commercial freight operations.
Truck drivers may begin seeing more autonomous trucks on Texas highways, particularly between Dallas and Houston.
For now, these vehicles continue operating with human safety drivers.
