Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for CDL drivers, trucking businesses, and schools using CDLcrew.

Is CDLcrew only for jobs?

No. CDLcrew is built around trucking companies, CDL jobs, CDL schools, practice tests, news, and practical resources so drivers can compare options from one place.

How does a trucking company get listed?

A business owner creates a free company profile. If the business email matches the company website domain, the profile can publish faster. Otherwise CDLcrew reviews it before it appears publicly.

Can companies post jobs?

Yes. After a trucking company profile is approved, the owner can post CDL job listings from the business dashboard.

Why do some companies have no jobs yet?

A company profile can exist before the company posts openings. Drivers can still review the carrier profile, contact information, equipment notes, and location.

Are CDL schools free to list?

Schools can create a free profile. CDLcrew may add optional paid visibility upgrades later, but the first listing step should stay simple.

Does CDLcrew replace official CDL rules?

No. CDLcrew resources are study and research tools. Drivers should confirm licensing, medical, endorsement, and testing requirements with their state DMV, FMCSA, TSA, or employer.

How should drivers use company profiles?

Look for USDOT or MC numbers, location, equipment, pay notes, lanes, contact details, and job links. If something is missing, contact the company directly before applying.

Can a small company use CDLcrew as its website?

Yes. A public company page can show the business name, location, contact details, images, equipment, and recruiting notes even if the carrier does not have its own website.
