Arizona Puts Oversize Load Out of Service

One oversized load had problems from front to back.

Arizona troopers stopped a truck hauling a mobile home on Loop 202 near Tempe on September 24. The load was traveling from Phoenix toward Payson during rainy morning traffic.

According to Arizona authorities, the trailer's rear lights were not working, required warning equipment was missing, and the width listed on the oversize permit was inaccurate. The rear escort driver also had a suspended driver's license.

The permit was voided and the load was placed out of service until the problems could be corrected.
