Arkansas Truck Stops Lead to $5.1 Million Cocaine Seizure on I-40

Two commercial vehicle stops on I-40 led to major drug seizures.

Arkansas Highway Police said officers discovered 254 kilograms of cocaine and 2 kilograms of methamphetamine during one inspection. Authorities estimated the cocaine at about $5.1 million and the meth at approximately $22,000.

A separate commercial vehicle stop led to the discovery of 11 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, mushrooms and a stolen UTV.

Both cases remain under investigation.
