Anderson Trucking Raises Flatbed Driver Pay by 10¢ Per Mile

Another carrier is raising driver pay.

Anderson Trucking Service increased base mileage pay for experienced flatbed company drivers from 60¢ to 70¢ per mile. The new pay structure took effect September 21 and includes increases across other experience levels.

The change represents a 16.7% increase at the 60¢-per-mile level. The company also says its top 20% of flatbed drivers have averaged about $2,100 per week this year.

The increase comes as carriers compete for experienced drivers while the trucking market continues to tighten.
