I-15 in Utah to Have Overnight Lane Closures, New Traffic Pattern Through May 2027

Truck drivers traveling northbound on Interstate 15 through Lehi, Utah, should prepare for overnight lane closures and a long-term traffic pattern change near 2100 North (Exit 282).

According to the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), northbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane overnight on October 7, 8, 10 and 11. Lane closures will begin at 7 p.m., with traffic expected to be restricted to one lane by midnight. All lanes will remain open Friday, October 9.

Crews will shift northbound traffic toward the center median to make room for utility relocation, construction of a retaining wall and foundations for a new interchange. The new traffic pattern is expected to remain in place through May 2027.

UDOT also announced closures of the westbound SR-201 ramp to I-80 near Tooele, including a closure from 10 p.m. October 8 until 5 a.m. October 12. Drivers will be detoured via SR-202. All construction schedules are weather-dependent.
